Dosage

Adults: 10–30 mL per week, adjusted according to individual needs and under the guidance of a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Practitioner Preparations

Topical cream: Mix 5 mL of 23% ethanol 1:2 liquid extract into 45 g of MediHerb Vitamin E Cream. For sensitive skin, Act may be added to reduce potential irritation.

Eye bath: Mix 5 mL of 23% ethanol 1:2 liquid extract into 70–80 mL of sterile saline. Use only under professional supervision.

Warnings

  • Contraindicated in individuals with known allergy to Calendula
  • Avoid topical use if sensitive to plants in the Compositae (Asteraceae) family
  • Professional supervision advised during pregnancy and lactation
  • Discontinue use at least 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
