Liver Safety
Stop taking Greater Celandine immediately and seek medical advice if symptoms potentially associated with liver injury occur, including:
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes
- Dark urine
- Pale stools
- Persistent or unusual itching
- Unusual fatigue or weakness
- Nausea or vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Pain in the upper-right abdomen
Seek urgent medical attention if jaundice occurs together with confusion, abdominal swelling, severe weakness, unusual bleeding or repeated vomiting.
Do not restart Greater Celandine after a suspected liver reaction unless specifically directed by a medical specialist.
Gallbladder and Digestive Safety
Greater Celandine should not be used as a substitute for medical assessment, liver-function testing, diagnostic imaging or prescribed treatment.
Gallstones or bile-duct obstruction may cause severe abdominal pain, fever, vomiting or jaundice and can require urgent medical assessment.
