LivCo® contains herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support digestion and Milk Thistle Seed as an hepatoprotectant to support liver health.

Dose:

Adults:1 tablet 3-4 times daily.

Ingredients:

Each tablet contains:
Silybum marianum (St Mary’s Thistle) extract 34 mg
derived from min. seed dry 2.38 g
standardised to contain flavonolignans calculated as silybin 24 mg
Schisandra chinensis (Schisandra) extract 167 mg
derived from fruit dry 1.0 g
Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) extract 100 mg
derived from leaf dry

Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Croscarmellose Sodium, Hypromellose, Magnesium Stearate, Maltodextrin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Starch Glycollate, Sorbitol.

No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial colours or flavours

Warning:

  1. In anaemia and cases where iron supplementation is required, do not take simultaneously with meals or iron supplements
  2. Caution is advised in patients taking immunosuppressive drugs, especially those with elevated liver enzymes, and do not take them simultaneously.
  3. As Schisandra may accelerate clearance of drugs from the body, caution is advised prescribing herbs for patients taking medications with a narrow therapeutic window, including warfarin and digoxin.
  4. Caution in patients taking metronidazole and ornidazole
  5. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
  6. If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
