MediHerb Mexican Valerian 1:2 500ml

MediHerb Mexican Valerian 1:2 is a concentrated single-herb liquid extract prepared from the root and rhizome of Valeriana edulis.

This 500 mL practitioner preparation is intended for use under the guidance of a qualified healthcare practitioner and may be prescribed individually or incorporated into a professionally formulated herbal compound.

Directions for use

Adults: 10–30 mL per week, adjusted according to individual requirements under the guidance of a qualified healthcare practitioner.

This is a weekly dosage range, not a daily dose. Follow the current Australian product label or your practitioner's directions.

Shake well before use. Measure the prescribed quantity carefully and dilute in a small amount of water immediately before taking.

Mexican Valerian may cause drowsiness, dizziness or reduced alertness. Do not drive or operate machinery if affected.

Consult your healthcare practitioner or pharmacist before use if you take medicines that cause drowsiness or affect the central nervous system. Do not combine with alcohol, sedatives or other products that may cause drowsiness unless advised by your healthcare practitioner.

Do not stop or replace prescribed medication without medical guidance. Seek professional advice before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Discontinue use seven days before general anaesthesia, surgery or an invasive procedure unless otherwise directed by your treating healthcare professional.
