  • Provides liquorice which is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine (WHM) to relieve inflammation
  • Black cohosh is traditionally used in WHM
    • To relieve dysmenorrhoea and menstrual spasms in females
    • As an emmenagogue to promote menstrual flow in females
  • No added gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg or sesame seeds
  • No added artificial colours, sweeteners or flavours
  • Vegan friendly

Dose:

Adults: Take 1 tablet 1-4 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Ingredients:

Each tablet contains:

Paeonia lacriform (Paeonia) extract derived from root dry 213 mg 852 mg Glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice) extract derived from min. root dry standardised to contain glycyrrhizin acid 12.1 mg 121 mg 847 mg Actaeon racemose (Black Cohosh) extract derived from root dry 0.6 mL 300 mg Thuja occidentals (Thuja) extract derived from leaf dry 1.25 mL 250 mg

Excipients

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, Hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.

Allergen Information

No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts,
tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial
colours or flavours.

Warning:

  • Do not use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
  • Caution in those with liver problems: In very rare cases Black Cohosh may cause harm to the liver in some individuals. If the patient is experiencing yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes, dark urine, nausea, vomiting, unusual tiredness, weakness, stomach or abdominal pain, and / or loss of appetite, the patient should stop using this product and see their doctor.
  • Due to Liquorice: caution is advised in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressive;
  • contraindicated in hypertension and oedema and in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics.
  • Contraindicated during breastfeeding and lactation.
  • Caution is advised in patients taking statin drugs.
  • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia. If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
