Vitamin D Spray helps the absorption of calcium into bones and teeth and supports a healthy immune system.

Interaction:

  1. Phenytoin and valproate induce catabolism of vitamin D through liver induction.
  2. Prolonged use of phenytoin and valproate is associated with an increased risk of developing rickets and osteomalacia.
  3. Supplemental vitamin D is advised in patients taking phenytoin and valproate.
  4. It is recommended to test vitamin D serum levels to guide dosage.

Dose

Adults: Take 1 spray orally daily, with food

    Ingredients:

    Each oral spray contains:
    Colecalciferol 25 microgram
    equiv. to Vitamin D3 1000 IU

    Rice bran oil, Berry flavour, dl-alpha-tocopherol, Stevia rebaudiana.

    No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, artificial  or colours

    Warning:

    1. Cautioned with calcium channel blockers as vitamin D supplementation may reduce the effectiveness of these drugs
    2. Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet
    3. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
    4. Contains trace amounts of sulphur dioxide
